Ya falta poco para que en cines nipones se extrene esta pelicula y los trailers que he visto estan demasiado buenos, una lucha entre Cloud y Sephiroth que aun sigue siendo un desgraciado y Tifa rompiendole la crisma a un sicario de Sepiroth y Vincent con una cria

Cloud está mucho más logrado que en el videojuego, con efectos tridimensionales. Podemos apreciar que la cara tiene cierto parecido con Tidus (FFX) y que ha desaparecido su famoso pelo de punta. 
Sephiroth sigue teniendo las mismas pintas que en el juego, también más logrado y con efectos tridimensionales. El pelo lo tiene más corto que en el videojuego y parece ser que le han dado un toque afeminado como hicieron con Kuja (FFIX).


Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, es el nombre de la película de animación.
La historia de FFVII: Advent Children tendrá lugar dos años después del final del juego Final Fantasy VII. El mundo parece
estar en paz, habiendo evitado la destrucción, pero los habitantes están empezando a sufrir una nueva amenaza física
llamada Seikon-Shoukougun.

Cloud ha vivido sólo hasta ahora. Mientras Sephiroth, o alguien que viste igual que él, ha aparecido en varias imágenes en el
Tokyo Game Show. Por el momento no se sabe si ha sido resucitado o es otra persona [entre otras posibilidades].

Dos personajes misteriosos aparecerán en Advent Children. Uno es un hombre de pelo gris con traje negro [tendrá algún duelo
de espadas con Cloud]. Otro personaje misterioso está cubierto por una túnica blanca con capucha. Por el momento no se ha
dicho quienes son estos dos [tres si contamos a "Sephiroth"] personajes misteriosos.


Lo que se puede ver es el resultado de numerosas exploraciones. Al parecer les fue imposible trasladar el look del FFVII directamente al nuevo look realista de Advent Children. Las características que permitirán a cualquier persona reconocer a Cloud y los otros se han mantenido en ellos.

Los personajes del video promocional fueron animados por motion capture, pero la captura fue hecha para el video
promocional, no es una parte de la película. También destacó que no todo está hacho con motion capture, ya que hay partes
que son humanamente imposibles, por lo que están hechas a mano.

El tema principal de Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children según Nojima [creador del escenario] no será algo suave, será algo de
supervivencia.


La película tendrá una duración aproximada de 60 minutos. En un principio está previsto que el DVD salga a la venta en Japón
durante el verano del 2004, 2 años después de haber empezado con el proyecto. Respecto a si la película dará lugar a una
secuela después de su lanzamiento Tetsuya Nomura dijo que él espera que este proyecto conduzca a algo, puesto que se ha
despertado algo que dormía... todos también lo esperamos.

Pues la película no se estrenará en los cines, sino que será lanzada en DVD y en un formato compatible con el PSP, la consola tipo gameboy de Sony.

Y en cuanto a los personajes, son 3 hombres de cabello plateado, pero ninguno de ellos es Sephitoh, sus nombres son Kadaj, Yazoo y Loz. En cuanto a la persona en silla de ruedas, hasta ahora se ha especulado y especulado. Se dice que es Sephiroth, Dr. Hojo, Lucrecia (la amada de Vincent) incluso Jenova, pero es de los mejores secretos guardados por Square.

También se han visto imagenes de los Turks (Reno y Rude) y de la propia Aeris, que es otra incógnita, ay que no se sabe si su rol será el de recuerdo o tendrá mayor importancia.

También hay vistazos de Cid y Red XIII.

Pues hasta el mometo es todo lo que se sabe... Me muero porque ya salga el DVD, estoy ahorrando para comprarlo.

Advent Children:

This might just be a new genre.

GanGan: To get right to the point, at this year’s E3 the latest trailer was shown. Concerning the visuals, what aspects did you want to stand out?

Mr. Nomura: The original characters have evolved so we’re aiming for the textures and atmosphere to feel real, but with the modelling we’re not looking for realism. As for the rest, we’ll go with what looks cool. The same goes for things like direction, and the battle scenes too, but by contrast we didn’t make it too realistic. I’m having the development team do things that are really exaggerated like the technique employed in anime and manga and such, where within a realistic atmosphere you have things that are done non-realistically, like the modelling of the characters in AC.

GanGan: Looking at the visuals, it’s turning out to be a production with a mysterious atmosphere, with there being what seems to be a fusion between non-realistic and realistic styles.

Mr. Nomura: A fusion you say…well, I guess it might be. With there being a very fine balance that is, in any case, hard to put into words. If it became either more realistic or non-realistic, the present balance would probably be lost. It’s something that’s different also from your usual animation, I guess you could call it a new genre.

The gloomy lot gets into action all right!

GanGan: Continuing about the characters, the appearance of people from the original game making a continuing appearance here, has rather changed, hasn't it?

Mr. Nomura: Yes, the original FFVII was made in 1997 and 7 years have passed since then, and within the world of the characters themselves too, 2 years have passed so… As for the clothes, if they were the same as 2 years ago, I’d be like people saying ‘Is that one outfit all you own?’ (laughs) As for Vincent, his outfit hasn’t changed, it’s probably like he doesn’t have anything else (laughs). About Vincent, with a body that doesn’t age and is immortal, he’s a bit different from humans so I guess that’s why we took a chance in not changing his looks.

GanGan: Will the other characters that appeared in the game make an appearance as well?

Mr. Nomura: The other characters… well, I’ll get in trouble if I say ‘that’s all’? You’ll just ask me why, right? (laughs) FFVII’s characters were really popular, so such things are naturally being considered.

GanGan: About FFVII, the appearances of its gloomy characters have really gained popularity- Vincent among others for instance.

Mr. Nomura: Yes, this time those people get plenty of instances to show off. (laughs) Well, it’s not that the party from the game will just get together once more and the story then develops from there… FFVII comprised an epic story totalling tens of hours, but when you compare the current FFVII: AC to it, the latter comes in really short. If all the previous members were to once again get together in the same place, that would be overkill so…

GanGan: I see. So, about the 3 characters, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo, who newly make their appearance in this production, these 3 have similar characteristics like silver hair and such, right?

Mr. Nomura: I guess you could say they’re siblings… Concerning their looks, if you’re thinking that, since the colour of their hair as well as the colour of their eyes is the same as Sephiroth’s, there might in some way be a connection… there is. (laughs) I can’t yet tell you what they’re after, but the keywords that appeared in the last trailer ‘Jenova’, ‘Reunion’, ‘Geostigma’ and such are connected to them. This time the story will start to develop with them at the centre. With them showing up, the peace that has lasted for 2 years will begin to deteriorate.

GanGan: About the much talked about story, firstly, what is the meaning of the subtitle, ‘Advent Children’?

Mr. Nomura: The theme will be about ‘Advent’, which means ‘second coming’, and ‘Children’, which literally means 'children'. Who is this ‘children’ referring to? In general it also encompasses Marlene and her friends. Children will be the key point of the story, and this time Cloud will have to come to their rescue. The game, it being about saving the Planet, had an epic story, but this time it’s about saving the children… What appeared in the last part of the most recent trailer, ‘Why is Cloud fighting once again?’, ‘Is it for the children? For a memory? Or, for himself?’, is something worth noticing.

GanGan: How will the story be connected with FFVII’s?

Mr. Nomura: It’s not a story that will reveal the mysteries present in the game, but the thing is, that although we concluded FFVII back then, I think that there probably are among the players, those for whom there are still unclear things remaining about the character of Cloud who’s role they assumed. Why is Cloud, who is now living by himself in solitude, in fact alone? Aside from this, there must surely be parts that trouble the minds of people who played FFVII… Pertaining to that, I think that in more ways than one, Cloud will settle things this time.



Continuing with the previous issue of Famitsu PS2, there is an interview with Naora, and it mentions Cloud's sword(s). He wants people to take note that Cloud's new sword(s) has no Materia slots.

PSP es la nueva consola portátil de Sony y uno de los juegos que va a salir es Final Fantasy Before Crisis y está enfocado, como ya había escrito, en los Turks antés de Final Fantasy VII.

   ¿Sabes también de dónde se pueden bajar los trailers?  En la página oficial sólo puedo verlos, pero no bajármelos.

Aún no hay fecha de lanzamiento del DVD en Europa ni en Norteamérica, pero se dice que saldrá a fines del 2004 o durante el 2005. En cuanto a los trailers ahí te va a el enlace:

Fecha tentativa del lanzamiento del DVD en tierras niponas es el 10 de julio o en días cercano a esa fecha. Y el lanzamiento en Norte América un par de meses depués. Ojalá fuentes estén en lo correcto....

esto si va  ser la pelicula de un final fantasy, no como la que salio de spirit within, eso fue una blasfemia haberle puesto el nombre de final fantasy ya que no tenia nada que ver con los juegos, esto si es una pelucila, por cierto quien dijo que la pelea es entre sephirot y cloud, quien lo dijo esta mal

En cuanto a Shin Ra, se supone que desapareció y que este par anda por su cuenta, pero no se sabe a ciencia cierta. Los de Square han guardado muy bien este tipo de información, no se sabe mucho acerca de la trama, más lo que ya se ha dicho.

Barret también está en la película. Su brazo ahora es un brazo a la Anakeen Skywalker, ya no tiene la metralleta. Marlene, su hija, también está en la película. En cuanto al parecido de los 3 hombres de cabello plateado, ha dado mucho de que hablar, se dice que son clones de Sephiroth, pero hay que aclarar que ninguno de ellos es Sephiroth. Pero de nuevo, Square ha guardado el secreto de sus identidades MUY celosamente, así que sólo hay que esperar....
